Android version 4.1.2

I've just acquired a Samsung S III GT-I9300 replacing my Samsung S II GT-I(000. The new Samsung comes with Android version 4.1.2 whereas my previous Samsung II had Android version 2.1 Update 1

How do I get my new version of Spotify to:

Not require me to login every time I want to use it? My previous version just went straight into Spotify when I selected the icon
Default to 'Offline' mode. It currently defaults to 'Online' mode. Not very helpful when you can't get a signal. In this case it won't let you loin until you've taken it 'Offline'. But you can't do this without first logging in. Catch22?

Why does Spotify now not allow you to exit without having to logout? If you just switch the mobile off, Spotify assumes you've logged out. Catch22 again?

If these are now features, then I'm very inclined to cancel my subscription

Hi there.

I'm using a Galaxy S3 with 4.1.2 and I don't experience the issues you mention. I.e. they're not features.

Could you have a look through the troubleshooting tips, please?
