Spotify Update: Offline Playlists gone

Samsung S7 + Android 7.0:

Everytime Spotify makes is updated, it changes the storage back to phone storage. Due to that no playlist is offline anymore, because it doesn't seem to recognise it's files on the sd card. And I have to download every playlist again.

Is there a solution?

Having this issue as well. I can see on my SD card there is 40gb of Spotify media but Spotify it self wont see it, even when I change the storage location back to the SD card.
