Spotify no longer playing through ford sync

My spotify updated two days ago and now it will no longer play through Ford sync on my car. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but still won't work.

Sorry to tell you this, but Spotify no longer works with Ford Sync. https://support.spotify.com/is/listen_everywhere/in_the_car/ford/

I read your reply thanks, I wanted to know the reason they discontinued it! Seems ridiculous.

Most likely Ford was asking for too much money to keep Spotify with Ford Sync and Spotify wasn't willing to pay the extra cash so they discontinued it. Or maybe vice versa.

This is terrible, how can they just cut it off? Will have to find a new app that will play through my car then!

Hi i solved this. uninstall the last version of spotify and install the spotify-8-4-32-623.apk.

and spotify app now show again in Sync 3.

also you dont update spotify for now.
