Unable to sync local files

i am having the latest spotify on both Windows and Android and i recently moved a new local files into my spotify playlist. However, when i sync it to my phone, it showed the local file song but does not allow me to download it and it is greyed out. I did not have this problem the last time around when i moved local files into my spotify playlist. Do advise

So by syncing to your android, do you mean downloading the local files onto your phone. You have to have the local songs downloaded on both the desktop and phone. If you did do this then check out this link and that might be the solution.

Hi, thanks for the reply. In regards to this, i have the local file on both computer and phone but it is still greyed out
