So I recently upgraded to premium again and now when I browse for new playlists and new releases, it's dominated by Hong Kong, Korean, Chinese and even Japanese music. And I can't change the region because I'm using a Hong Kong credit card. The user experience was a hundred times better when I was using the free service with the region set to the UK or USA.

It's very disappointing that the paid service is so much worse than the free one. Please think of the huge expat community in different countries who only speak English when you localize your contents. I have my language preference set to English because I don't understand Chinese (nor Korean, nor Japanese), so I don't know why the premium version of Spotify would force music in languages other than English down my throat.

This is making Spotify premium unusable, and forcing people like me to use other streaming services that don't localize their content. I will have to cancel my premium subscription again until you guys work out the localized content. I live the free service so it's a shame that the premium version is so bad.

I have the same issue. Used to have a UK account but changed to using my Thai credit card and now all my content suggestions are Thai.

I understand this restriction is fine for most users but there must be a very sizable group that would like to change the region of their content recommendations.

I also understand the various licensing restrictions that mean that we can't have 100% of the content recommended by another region's curators. However that doesn't mean those recommendations should be completely unavailable to us.
