Certain songs stop halfway

Hi!

Im a premium user and using OPPO phone running Android 7.1.1 .

spotify music intermittently stops playing music and i have to manually go into there app to click 'play'.

Tried uninstalling and installing, still couldnt get it to work.

Anyone has encountered this before?

We'd recommend giving it a go from a different device to check if you have the same issue. Also, restarting your phone might help you out.

Hi, thank you for replying, I tried to listen on my iPad.
Seems to be okay. But not sure why on android has this issue.

Hi Everyone,

I found a solution. Posting this here: it was caused by my phone's smart battery saver mode.

I had enabled it, but it has an 'intelligent mode' to clear all background running apps, this includes Spotify, thus, explaining why it plays half way.

I turned it off and my Spotify is playing normally now.
