The latest update for spotify made my phone crash repeatedly so I downgraded it to reduce crashes but now I'm getting a warning from spotify about this, help

I got an email from spotify saying I got a modded version of spotify on my
Zte maven 2, the email then said if I kept using it they would suspend or
terminate my account

Have you tried to download OFFICIAL Spotify app from Play Store? Does it work?
Or
Are you currently using the official Spotify app which is not downloaded from 3rd party market?

I've had the official spotify app for years but the last update made my
phone crash so I just went online to find the previous version to fix it
