I am just wondering if there is / why there is no feature that allows you to play music from your phones storage through the Spotiy app like you can on a desktop.

For example, on my phones storage I have some of Logic's original mixtapes. It would be amazing if I could play them through Spotify so I can queue the songs for example, as these mixtapes are not on Spotify. Similarly it would be great to be able to play other mixes etc that I have.

I know you can add files to your computer and then add to a playlist and download but it would be a lot easier for Spotify to be able to play it from the phone, independent of a desktop. As well as not downloading / making loads of playlists / not sifting through hundreds of songs.
