Disabling Bluetooth Auto Start

Hello,

Whenever I connect my phone to my car stereo using bluetooth, the Spotify app opens and begins playing music from where I last left off. I don't want this behavior. I often listen to podcasts, and use a different app for that. Spotify will override the app that is playing my podcasts to start playing music, which requires manual intervention to fix.

This behavior persists whether or not Spotify was previously open.

I've spent a few hours searching the forums, and have found several threads that address this issue, but no solutions. Anyone have any insight?

Hi, I have the same issue but also haven't found yet any solution. It is kind of annoying that it automatically starts when connected via bluetooth to my car. I will keep searching for a solution.
