Music always stops when browsing using Chrome

Hi all,

This has been happening forever. I'll be listening to Spotify on my Galaxy S7 Edge while browsing the web using Chrome. I've got autoplay media set to off, and site audio is muted. Still, whenever I'm surfing, any time there's any annoying web media onscreen, even though it's muted correctly and silent, the Spotify app stops playing and I have to swipe down and press play to restart. It's really annoying. Can't find any resolution in any online forums. Hopefully someone can help, I can't take it anymore!! Thanks, all.

Am I really the only person who can't listen to Spotify while surfing in Chrome on an Android device? Firefox doesn't stop my music and doesn't have the same annoying autoplaying (yes I have autoplay disabled so I don't hear anything from Chrome but Spotify stops the music anyway). Fun But I'm not planning to switch to Firefox Please! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
