topic Music changed and stop playing through my device. in Android

I was listening to one of my usual playlists at work, when suddenly the song skips to this entirely different playlist I've never played before. What's worse is that this song in particular was a less-than-appropriate rap song that anyone could have heard had they walked into my office (I usually only play light instrumental music). Soon after that, it says "Playing through iPhone" even though I'm using my Android and I wasn't hearing audio. I signed out everywhere and closed the app just to be safe.

So, seriously, what happened here? This is extremely scary and single-handedly convinced me to cancel my subscription. It's like someone else took control of my account briefly. And now I keep getting recommendations for similar songs even though I never actually selected this playlist myself.

Please tell me what happened. This is very unnerving.
