Play/Pause from bluetooth devices after Android Oreo update

My LG V30 from Verizon recently got the Android Oreo update. I noted that after this upgrade the play/pause action stopped working from my Sennheiser BT440 headphone. I also tried the same operation from my LG Watch Style and it is not working as well. Next/Previous song controls are working fine but not the Play/Pause.

I am having the same issue except it is only play, pause still works. Also using V30 with recent update to Oreo.

I am having issues as well my controls have disappeared from my lock screen. I was able to pause ff etc from lock screen by swiping this morning. After the update when I swipe on lock screen it just says play media.....
