Chromecast disconnect when changing song on Android

When playing Spotify on my Chromecast Audio using Spotify Connect from my Android, Spotify will disconnect from my Chromecast whenever I touch the Spotify app on my Android, stating that it's paused because my Spotify is being used somewhere else. So at the moment, I can't change songs without getting disconnected. Very annoying. It works well with my girlfriends iPhone though. Bug?

I have the exact same problem on my P20 Pro. Actually it is even hard to get a song to play on my chromecast audio. Sometimes I have to start a song on my phone first and then change to the chromecast to actually get it working on my chromecast, otherwise it will disconnect immediately. If I don't touch the spotify app afterwards, it will keep running through an album or a Playlist without any problem, but as soon as I try to change a song, it will disconnect again. Really really annoying.

I am having the same issue, even reinstalled the PC app.
