topic [BUG] Changing password in Android

Hi,

I've discovered this issue which is clearly a bug. Yesterday I changed the password of my account, the desktop client promoted me for a new password when I started it.

This morning however I discovered the mobile client for Android wasn't working it was stuck with the message: "No internet connection available". Having experienced this problem before I first thought was the old bug which had reared it's head again and so tried all the old tricks to fix it, nothing helped. Then I remembered I had changed my password so I logged out and logged on again and everything was back to normal.

This is clearly a bug since the client doesn't prompt for a new password and the connectivity message is erroneous.

Hey 🙂

As far as I am aware, Spotify will only prompt you for a new password if you specifically log out of the client. Just exiting will cache your session so you can return to it again without the need to enter your password (hence the large "Someone else using my account" topic). I am not sure why that would cause a "No Internet Connection Available" error, but who knows!

If I had an android device I would for sure be checking this out, sounds interesting!
