Filter won't work properly

I tried to filter my playlist with a specific artist and it doesn't work. I tried it with other playlist and it had the same result. And I also tried filtering the playlist with a different artist. This occurred in the newest update for Spotify. The one that happened near the time 5/5/18 I already tried force stopping the app and also restarting my device, but the issue still persists. I am on Android, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7. If there is a solution, I would greatly appreciate it if I could know the solution, thanks.

Yea, this is happening with my app too. It's weird because it shows the filtered list of songs, but when you shuffle or play something, it still plays as if it wasn't filtered. The workaround is just to sort by artists and scroll down, which sucks.

I have the same issue, it shows the filtered songs, but when I tap on one of them, instead of playing the song showed, it plays the song that was there before I filtered them. It wasn't like this yesterday, so I would assume it's an update made. I have a Huawei Honor 9, and my spotify app is at version 8.4.53.703

Having the same issue.

Clean reinstall failed.

Clearing cache failed.

Google Pixel 1.

Android 8.1.0

Spotify 8.4.54.536

I'm having the same issue with the same divice as you.

Also, everytime I choose a song I have to put the shuffle again and again.

Hope they can fix this issue very soon, its very anoying.

i talked to a spotify support member and they said they were aware of the issue and working on a fix

Same issue since a couple of week.

OnePlus5 with newest Android! Kind of annoying if you wanna search for songs to put in the queue!!
