Spotify reverting to default settings

Every time my phone goes to sleep my Spotify app will revert to it's default settings, and I have to log back in. All my downloaded music needs downloading again, I have to change the download quality and the cross fade goes back to zero. My playlists are still there but cannot play the songs offline. It's as though I've downloaded the app fresh.

I've selected yes for the permissions the app needs.

It's getting so frustrating because I download my songs almost daily.

Anybody have the same issue and can shed some light?

Sorry to hear that! This seems extremely inconvenient. Have you tried reinstalling the app and seeing if your issue persists?

Yeah I did uninstall it and reinstalled it but unfortunately made no
difference.. Thanks for your sympathy though lol its almost beyond
inconvenient when I have no reception
