Chromecast keeps cutting out

Hello all,

I have a reasonable internet connection (100 mBit) and Spotify keeps cutting out every 30 seconds or so when casting to my Audio Chrome Cast from one of my Android phones. Any thoughts as to what I should be looking at to resolve this? I'm hosting a party in the next few days so It'd be goood to resolve this.

We have a Spotify family account. This happens on any of the accounts. We have run it on a pixle 2, G4, PC and from Google home. All play fine to the Chromecast Audio for around 30 minutes then start cutting in and out. We have Rogers internet, 1gb download speed and a Onhub router (Google). We can use TuneIn no problem, only Spotify is unlistenable. Someone must have the same issue. Any resolution????

I have the same issue, and also have a fast internet connection. It's highly annoying and eventually I give up and switch to pandora, or google music. I thought I had another option since my Samsung TV is a smart TV and has a spotify app, but almost every time I open it, there's an unexplained error. It's obviously a Spotify issue and not a samsung issue if none of the other apps have any problems. If this isn't resolved soon I'm going to cancel my premium subscription.
