Spotify stopped working on my Android phone

Up until recently Spotify Premium worked fine on my HTC Wildfire, but then it just stopped working. My playlists dissapeared and if I tried to play any track through the search function it states that "Streaming is only available to Premium subscribers". I do still have Premium (it both says so on my computer and on my bank account) and it worked on the very same phone before. I tried to re-install the software, but that did nothing.

What is wrong?

I needed nore space for storage while out of town and inadvertanly closed all apps. cannot install apps now. even went to best buy and got a 16 G SD. too no avail.

The latest android client does not support storage of files on SD cards, although there is a work around on this android section if you want to have a search for it. It involves installing an older version of the application manually and then updating to the latest one.
