topic Spotify doesn't work in Android

I got Spotify premium at the start of the year. To begin with, as I listened to music, Spotifys algorithms recommended new music and playlists, and after a free weeks the Daily Mixes started to appear. I thought it was great, and well worth the subscription fee.

However, over time, the new playlists stopped, the new daily mixes stopped and the existing ones stopped updating.

I researched and put some comments on fora, and received some advice, mostly people telling me that I'm "using it wrong".

Based on their advice,
- I cleared the cache.
- Cleared data.
- Reinstalled the app.
- Liked/disliked songs
- Created my own playlists
- Listened to more varied music
- Listened to more playlists

And on the list goes...

I get it. I'm trying to give more data to the Spotify bots to help them provide a better experience for me, but I've been doing the above for WEEKS. Nothing changes. Nothing updates. The daily mixes are locked in place.

Spotify is basically a cloud iPod for me, at this stage. I could go back to using my old iPod right now and nothing much would change.

Are all music services like this?
