I know this has been asked loads but all the threads are really old!

I'm looking for an android device to install spotify on that ISN'T a phone as it's for an 8 year old.

I want something not too expenisve either, I have looked at the mighty but it is over my budget.

Has anyone found anything that will work?

The cheapest solution would probably be a second hand mobile phone. As long as you don't insert a Sim card, it would fulfil your requirements.

Getting a phone isn't an option unfortunately, it's for my son who will
only be 8 and it's the playground talk of "I've got a phone" that I don't
want, whether it is capable of working as a phone or not. Plus I work in
mobile phones, so I'm a bit of a phone snob and wouldn't buy him anything
cheap. I'm looking more for an iPod touch alternative. I'd just really not
like to buy into apple as nothing else we have is apple.
