https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Local-Files-WILL-NOT-sync-to-my-Pixel/m-p/4487730#M132837 <P>I have tried everything I could find on the forum, but could not get my local files to sync from my computer to my phone.</P><P>My gear is:</P><UL><LI>Google Pixel (original, American Version, <EM>not the 2</EM><EM>)</EM></LI><LI>Mac book Pro 2017</LI><LI>Spotify Premium Student</LI></UL><P>I have tried the following:</P><UL><LI>The listed instructions on the Spotify website (i.e. make a playlist, make sure you're connected to the same wifi, click download on both devices)</LI><LI>Logging in and logging back out on both desktop and mobile</LI><LI>Reinstalling on both desktop and mobile</LI><LI>making sure apps on both devices are up to date</LI><LI>putting the songs in different playlists&nbsp;</LI><LI>connecting both devices to a different wifi network</LI><LI>Checking my firewall (there was no firewall active so that was never an issue)</LI></UL><P>I am getting quite frustrated to pay for a service that cannot do this when services like Apple Music and even Google Music do this so readily. Spotify is quite likely about to lose a customer if this issue cannot be fixed.
