spotify offline not working

last few days ago my spotify worked in offline mode listening to my playlist then couple days later i turned on offline mode again and now it wont play my songs it just says this song is not available i tried clearing cache and data then downloading playlist again it gave me the green arrow when i was downloading with wifi on then went into offline mode and my song names are greyed out after clicking it Now its only in white when offline mode is off and im connected to wifi i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling app as well my subscription is still active as premium so now it looks like i can only use spotify when im connected to a network and offline mode is turned off if i turn on it wont play any songs i have that i downloaded

Hey @CaptainForrest.

This could be happening if there's a duplicate cache memory for Spotify on your device.

To work this out, I suggest logging in here, and click "Remove all Devices". This'll delete all the cache memory you have stored on any device, so you'll need to download your playlists again.

If your downloaded music continues to disappear, check the "Downloads unexpectedly removed" section of this support page for what to do next.

i talked to spotify staff and they told me to keep the download turned on after i finish downloading my songs cause once i turn it off it greys out my songs but if i keep it on now it shows all my songs in white color and i can now play it offline so as long as i dont switch it off im good now
