Syncing local files

I am trying to sync a song which is not avaible in my location (UK) I have the song as a local file and add it to the playlist that i have downloaded on my phone. The problem is that the song on my phone is a now a live version of the song that is avaible on spotify is there any way to stop this happening and for me to make sure the local file syncs

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

I don't have much experience syncing local files since its not supported on my BlackBerry, but I would suggest you go to the playlist on the desktop client, find the local file and select "Unlink Track" and then sync it again to see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply i have tried this and it doesnt seem to work anybody got any other ideas of what i can try?
