Spotify asks for a software update

My Question or Issue

The app asks for a software update, despite my phone having Android 7.0, well above the minimum 4.1. The prompt appears daily, it's getting repetitive closing it each time.

After clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the caption has appeared again.

A day passed, the warning popped up again, clicking X does close it, but after some time, it appears again

Does it prevent you from using Spotify?
