Now Playing missing from Always On screen

Ok, so if this has been answered already I apologize, but I have been unable to find the answer. Since updating my Samsung Galaxy S7 to the new Oreo OS, I'm missing the now playing information from my always on display. It still pops up on my lock screen when I push the home or power button, but this information used to be displayed on my always on screen (black screen w/ date and time).

Any idea how to get this back?

Help please!

Check android settings>lock screen & security>clock and facewidgets>facewidgets and make sure that Music Controller is enabled.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have it enabled and set to display on lock screen and always on display, but still nothing.
