Randomly stops playing

My Question or Issue

Spotify just stops randomly when playing. I can go and push play and it starts again, but sometimes it stops more than once in a single song. I've uninstalled and reinstalled spotify and it still does it. How can I correct this? Android is my running system.

Just to confirm, are you getting any error messages or pop-ups when the music stops? If so, please let us know what exactly does it says.

In case you're not getting any error messages, let us know if this is only happening when you use Spotify with a specific audio output (e.g. headphones). We'll see what to suggest.

No it just randomly stops playing anytime, I've had it looked up to a blue tooth speaker or just playing alone on my phone. No error messages either.

Could you send us your exact Android and Spotify version numbers?

Also, let us know if the app is stopping while the phone is locked on stand by, or if it stops even if you're actively using the phone.
