My Question or Issue

I am having the common issue of music keep downloading over cellular. I cannot turn it off as this feature is disabled !!! how do I enable it so I can at least stop it eating p my data plan ?

Hey, thanks for reaching out.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest!

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply. First thing I tried was a restart and then removal and re-installation. No Joy. Samsung S6 edge and Android 6.

Hi. Both phones that have it installed are both disabled in that whole section.

Sorted now thanks. Rookie mistake... I didn't realise that when playing 'somewhere' those settings seem to be temporarily disabled. Adrian
