Can't change songs

My Question or Issue:

When I am attached to something via Bluetooth from my phone, such as my car or a speaker, I can no longer use the controls of that device to change or pause songs. The buttons on my steering wheel, car display, or on the speaker no longer let me advance to the next song, just makes the song pause for a second and then continue.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.
