My Question or Issue

Hello! Here's my issue.

I have a Spotify playlist that has about 40 songs, all with different artists, plus 3 Bastille albums and 2 Walk the Moon albums. No matter how many times I shuffle, it will shuffle the WTM and Bastille albums together, and have the other 40 songs tagging along at the end. Obviously, this is very, very annoying. The only fix I've found for this issue to get it to shuffle properly is to uninstall and reinstall the app. This is a royal pain in the **bleep** when I have to redownload all of my songs after the reinstall is complete, and the problem comes back in a day or two. I've been really enjoying using Spotify, so please fix this!!!! It's pissing me off!!!!!!!!!!

I arrived here because the same thing is happening to me. I have a playlist with albums from 10 different artists and no many how many times I click shuffle off and on, it will always "shuffle" only 3 of the artists's albums to the beginning of the play queue. I have tried all the suggestions to fix this and none of them work. This never happened before.

People have been complaining about the "shuffle" algorithm forever and I don't know how to actually fix it, but I use a playlist track shuffler and that seems to help some.

Thanks for the suggestion. Man, so lame we need a third-party plugin just to make shuffle work.

Yes this algorithm is not performing well in some situations. I have a playlist with 3 artists. Every time I shuffle the mix goes through all songs of one artist before getting to the other two.
