My Question or Issue

I really appreciate the notification/quick setting tile of Spotify, allowing me to quickly toggle between online and offline mode. But to my dismay, it's not working consistently. Sometimes I put it in offline mode, and it will come back to online. Sometimes, even when it's offline, I can still browse through Spotify app like it's online and even download songs. In other words, I don't think it's working right. Please help.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. We'll definitely be able to help out though.

How long has this been going on for? Did the issue start after an app update? Have you already tried restarting the app to see if it helps? If not, try a quick reinstall to see if it helps.

This has been going on for some time now, since I got a new phone (my previous phone doesn't support quick tile) and installed spotify therein. There've been a couple of updates that took place, I believe, and the issue still persists, which only means that the 'bug' may not have been addressed in the previous updates.

To make it clear: the quick tile works. But the problem is that, it comes back (or probably toggling by itself). If I disable it now, later on, when I launch spotify, I will just be surprised that it is enabled again by itself.

And yes, I've done several restarts.

But no, I won't do a reinstall. Reinstall is also one big thing that you should take a look at. The last time I did that, it removed all of my offline music (I had more than a thousand songs before), and I had to redownload all of them. That's one BS experience if you agree with me. You guys should find a way to offer another reinstall procedure without messing up the offline data.

Anyway, that's a side-topic. Please help with the quick tile problem. Thanks a lot.
