My Question or Issue

Hi,

My name is Diana, I am having trouble when connecting the app Spotify to the internet via Wifi, and it is the ONLY app that I having this kind of problem. All other apps are connected when using Wifi.

I have searched this issue on the community of spotify, and I have found many reports on that. But not a single solution I read have worked. I have tried:

Log out / Log in
Restart the device
Try a reinstall and clear the app's data
Try the app on other wifi networks

My app is only working when I am using my mobile data!

So, I am using the SPOTIFY LITE, wich I don't need to swhich off my wifi while at work or home.

I found this issue outrageous, moreover to someone that wants to use a premium plan and pay everymonth for using an app that will not connect to wifi.

Hi Diana,

Why are you using Spotify Lite? It has a lot less features - especially if you're thinking of moving to Premium. The Lite version doesn't save you data/cellular persé.

I suggest downloading the full Spotify app - and in the settings of the app there are some extra options for if you want to save on data.

I'm pretty sure this will solve your issue.

Good evening Ryan,

Please find attached the screenshot of the problem of my Spotify App.

I can never use this app when I am connected to the internet via WiFi. But this is so weird cuz everything else works! The only app of Spotify I can enjoy while connected is the Spotify Lite...

I already tried so many things, but I could not solve this issue: my Spotify app just won't connect when I have the wifi on!

Please if you know how to solve this, I really appreciate.
