Search tab disconnects Spotify

My Question or Issue

I have tried to restart the app. I even tried to camcel the spotify app and reinstalling it from the google play store. Still it has the same result/issue. It still disconnects spotify everytime I clicked on the search tab. Please advise. Thank you.

Hey @Zuisky21.

Just to confirm, is your Spotify saying it's Offline when you try to search or is it crashing the app?

In case it says you're Offline, you could be experiencing the issue posted on this thread, so check it out for more information and future updates.

Hi sir!

Good am!

I cannot even type anything on the search tab cause the moment I clicked
the icon of the search tab it immediately disconnects the spotify app. And
then you have to log in again in order to use again the app.

It's odd that the app is kicking you out of the account as soon as you go to the search tab.

Could you sendus your Android and Spotify version numbers? Also, if possible, send us a screenshot or short video of what happens on your end.

In the meantime, I suggest restarting your Android phone before trying again.
