My Question or Issue

There are significant issues with the Spotify app on the LG G6, they render the app essentially unusable. The issues are as follows:

Upon opening the App, the entire phone grinds to a halt and is very slow and unresponsive while the app is open. Phone usage returns once app is closed
Sometimes the phone restarts after a period of unresponsiveness
Spotify will not return search results but hang on the page with the icon swirling (the attached image was taken after one minute of waiting)
A song will stop after a number of seconds and restart a minute or two later

Please provide details of when this will be fixed.

Update:

Following these steps to reinstall seemed to fix the problem. Perhaps clearing the cache is the issue.

This problem appears again and again also for other Android phones. Some months after last reinstall of the app this happens again. Can Spotify give an advice here?
