Spotify app stuck on Sony SmartWatch 3

I have an issue with the app in my SmartWatch as it reappears on the screen even after I have closed the app on my phone.

I have tried rebooting the phone and the SmartWatch, also I tried 'Force stop' the app in the mobile, but the app comes back on the watch.

Any ideas?

Just as a heads up, I've changed the name of this post from 'Xbox One Spotify App' to 'Spotify app stuck on Sony SmartWatch 3'.

The best thing to try first is a reinstall of the app. This should give everything a refresh and hopefully get it unstuck from your watch.

I think I selected the title from a drop-down list.

Regarding my issue, seems to be resolved after an update for Spotify that happened yesterday. I haven't seen the app in my SmartWatch since then.
