Problem with downloading songs

My Question or Issue

I have a playlist containing 500+ songs. Now I want to download these songs to listen to offline. Originally I have set it to be saved on the SD-card. But for some reason after several days it automatically transfers the downloaded songs from my SD-card to my device storage.

How is this possible and what can I do about it?

Do you ever remove the SD card from your phone? Files can become corrupt when you remove the SD card from your phone when it's in use. Try to avoid removing the SD card from your phone unless your phone is turned off. If that doesn't help, try to reinstall the app. You can do this with these instructions.

I never remove the SD card from my phone, however I will reinstall the app and hope the problem will be solved that way.

It didn't solve the problem, what else can I do?

Or could the problem be my phone?

We believe it could be a problem with the SD card itself. We recommend that you reformat your SD card in your phone's settings. NB this will wipe everything off the card, so make sure you have everything that you need on it backed up.
