Search function not working - thinks I am offline

My Question or Issue

Search function not working either on wifi or mobile data. Has been happening off and on for months now. I can always search saved songs etc. but once I go outside that the chances are I will get a message say 'No offline results found for ....' 'Go online to search millions of songs'. I have tried deleting and reinstalling app. It works for a few days and then breaks again. This is basic functionality that should just work!
