Plan

Premium

Country

Sweden

Device

Moto G5

Operating System

Android 7.0 Nougat

My Question or Issue

When manually seeking a time in a song (that includes skipping forward or backward using the ->| arrows), the audio spike really loud. This happens even when the the EQ is set to flat or all max ( with audio normalization turned off).

I've seen complaints in the forum about this from 2013. I could not find any fix other than disabling EQ and normalization and that really isn't an option considering the quality of my earbuds and the audio pollution in the places that I listen.

Is this bug really low-prioritiy or in some way hard coded in the very core of Spotify requiring sick amounts of code rewriting to fix?

Any help is much appreciated.
