Anyone else having problems not being able to hear the music coming out of the phone. It is showing its playing but nit hearing anything. Yes my volume is on because I can play and hear songs off other apps? I have deleted and re upload spotify still not working.

Try restarting your phone - this solves the problem most of the time

Hi, please try force closing and or rebooting when this happens - it normally fixes the issue.

Strange, I'm not an android user but is there a way to change the volume of Spotify on android without changing the system volume like on Windows, or mute Spotify inside the application?

Can you try a clean reinstall by following all of the troubleshooting steps outlined in the android troubleshooting guide?
