Bug: Song does not update with wifi speaker

My Question or Issue

I started playing music over Spotify Connect on my WiFi speaker (Bose SoundTouch 10). I decided I wanted to listen to a podcast, so scrolled through the Browse tab until I found what I was looking for. I clicked the "play" button for the episode I wanted to listen to, and my speaker began playing the requested track.

The Spotify app did not update what it claimed was playing. It showed the previous song as paused. Attempting to click the Play button on the Spotify app had no effect.

The Bose app did show my podcast playing.

Hm, that's odd! I know this sounds obvious, but would you mind performing a clean reinstall by following the steps outlined here? This can solve many common problems that our users experience.

Could you also provide us with your Spotify app version? This will enable us to investigate your issue further.
