My Question or Issue

When ads are supposed to play spotify stops playing. I have to turn it off and back on again to continue listening .

That's not supposed to happen of course. Have you tried doing a quick reinstallation? You can read here how to do this.

If that doesn't help, could you ask a friend or family member to log in on your account to see if the same thing happens? That way we can find out if it's device or account related.
