Cannot exit advertising settings

My Question or Issue

Clicking on the "Spotify Ad Partner Preferences" button opens a browser window in the default browser (in this instance Chrome). Changing these settings is fine. However, if I then try to return to the Spotify app, it will keep redirecting me to a new browser tab to change my advertising settings.

It doesn't matter if I close the tabs or the browser, the only way to get back to Spotify is to close Spotify in the recent apps browser and then relaunch it.
