topic Spotify Connect defaults to AV Receiver every time. in Android

Scenario: using Spotify Connect to play on my AV Receiver, and then disconnect when I'm done. Every time I open the app from now on it pops up saying "playing on Denon-AVR, continue or listen on phone." It does this even when I'm not on my home WiFi. This is extremely infuriating as every time I want to listen to music, if it's not still running, then I have to tell it to switch back to my phone. This has been happening for months, and the only topic I can find on this is from 2015 and marked "solved" yet there isn't a solution.

I have "Devices" settings set to "Show local devices only.

I have tried force stopping, and clearing cache. It does eventually stop, but if I connect to my AVR it starts back up again. The only temporary solution is to clear all the app data, having to redownload all my 2000+ songs, then if I connect again to the AVR the bug is back.

Receiver is Denon AVR-X1400H on latest firmware

Premium Plan

USA

Device

Pixel 2XL

Operating System

Android 9.0 Pie

App version 8.4.88.150
