Queueing issues, Spotify crashing (new update: version 8.4.89.515)

My Question or Issue

Trying to add an album to the queue (no issues before this update). I can add an album or song to queue if it's among the most recent of the artist's albums, but doesn't stay in queue if I leave the app.

In this case Spotify doesn't crash but doesn't keep the queued songs/albums.

If I try adding an older album to queue: from any artist's page, tapping "see all albums", and just tapping the 3 dots beside any of these albums instantly shuts down Spotify.

I've restarted my phone. Same results.

Logged out of Spotify, restarted phone. Same thing.

I've even cleared all cache and data from the app, uninstalled then reinstalled after restarting my phone again, but still same issues.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Exact same thing happening to me, sort it out please.

I've put up with the minor glitches and stayed with Spotify without complaining but this one is the last straw.

I've been having the same issue recently. I've logged out/restarted my device/logged back in, uninstalled/re-installed the app, had someone at Spotify fix my offline cache, and I've cleared the app cache manually. They even gave me another account to test and it still happens on there, while exclusively on the mobile app. I'm not using an SD card and it happens regardless of if I'm connected to Wi-Fi or not. This is incredibly frustrating because the only way to queue an album that I don't already have saved is by going on the desktop app - which I don't always have access to. Please fix this Spotify, your app shouldn't crash so consistently like this!
