My Question or Issue

For the past month, Spotify has been giving me a constant Downloading notifcation usually 0% for 0/1 items. I never have been a premium member so I never have downloaded any music. The download attempt is tenacious, it ran through 6% of my battery since my last full charge about eight hours before checking (6% based on how I have not used Spotify today and that's today's battery consumption) and has been pulling a keep-awake on the system for about 4 and a half hours. I like Spotify, but it has been really wasteful, only work around I know of is to force stop the app - does anyone have a real fix for it?
