Spotify gets black screen and crashes

My Issue

Whenever I play music from a Spotify-made playlist I get a black screen by some songs and the app does not respond and crashes later in few seconds. This happens every time when I play a playlist. Sometimes immediately when I start and sometimes by the 3th songs. It is random but crashes every time. When I play a playlist.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Hi,

restart did never help.

I did a clean reinstall of the app. The issue still appears.

My device is the Huawei p20 pro with the Android version 9 and EMUI version 9.0.0.

I have the 8.4.90.722 version of Spotify.
