My Question or Issue

For some reason the android tv app would not start playing anything. I cleared the cache and restarted the tv, with the same behavior. Clicking any playlists, songs, etc or trying the Play button on those items didn't start playback. I had to remotely start playing music using my phone, which did finally start playback, then magically the spotify app for android tv was fixed and I could start playback using the tv.

Well, now with the latest update to android tvs, I can't login unless I play something from my phone. Spotify tells me to use my phone to input text, and it never accepts any input.. If I connect my phone that is... It asks for input even if my phone isn't on the same wifi... So broken

Same issue. Cannot playback any song on my android tv. Really annoys me that I can't listen to my music on my tv.
