Album Art Not Showing

My Question or Issue

When listening to music, I've noticed that album art doesn't seem to show up, mostly when viewing the player itself where the album art is actually large. If I open the menu for the song that's playing (i.e. to go to album or artist, etc.), however, the album art DOES load. I've tried doing a fresh install and that didn't fix things, so I'm not sure what to do. I just moved to a new phone, so that may somehow be the cause of the issue, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

You mention using a new phone, just to confirm, did this occur when using Spotify from your previous device?

If not, we'd recommend making sure that your new device is up to speed with any pending firmware updates. We'd also suggest making sure that Spotify is set as an exception for any cache-clearing or battery optimization apps.

On another note, we'd also recommend taking a look at this similar Ongoing Issue that we're currently investigating. If it's the same as the issue you're experiencing, we'd suggest adding your +VOTE. It'd be also helpful to leave a comment with relevant information.
