Spotify keeps crashing

My Question or Issue

Whenever I try to use Google maps and lately my messaging app, Spotify crashes. It still shows as open in my apps but the widget disappears and the music stops playing. Often when I go back into play it, it starts whatever I am listening to over from the beginning. I've tried updating the app and that hasn't worked. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's odd.

My app works fine. Could you try reinstalling your app again to see if that fixes this issue? Here's a step by step tutorial on how to do it properly.
