Spotify Car view Playlist restarts on screen timeout

My Question or Issue

The new cast view app started out fine. But when I play one of the Playlists it will start it and then randomly jump back to the first Playlist and first song... Seems to happen when the screen times out. If I pause the Playlist it will restart automatically after a few seconds and also seems to be when screen times out.

I have almost wrecked my car because of this sudden distraction. The car view app is almost completely worthless because of this bug. I saw partly similar complaints but no solution. Please help...this is annoying and dangerous
