My Question or Issue

How do I download (make available offline) one song without having to download an entire playlist or album? And why isn't this an easy or intuitive thing to do?

Hey @Tim_Penfold! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

I don't know why this isn't possible right now.

But you can always put the song you want in a specific playlist to download it separately. I know this is not that comfortable when you do it with many songs but it's the only way to it. ^^
